Multi-Peril Crop Insurance and Hail Insurance
Multi-Peril Crop Insurance is the best tool to secure the future of your farming operation. Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) is the oldest and most common form of federal crop insurance. MPCI protects against crop yield losses by allowing participating producers to insure a certain percentage of historical crop production. A single policy protects crops against all natural perils including adverse weather, fire, insects, disease, wildlife, earthquake, volcanic eruption and failure of irrigation water due to unavoidable causes.
WHG offers MPCI through RCIS-Rural Community Insurance Services and HCI-Heartland Crop Insurance. Available coverage includes Revenue Protection, Yield Protection, CAT, Replant and other named peril coverages. WHG also offers hail, green snap and wind insurance through several insurance companies including RCIS, HCI, Grinnell Mutual and ADM.
